A Truth of Christmas

Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. It is a pagan holiday created by department stores to bolster faltering earnings at the end of the year. Having said that... We should remember that though it began that way we have made it a symbol of our connection with God.The birth of Christ is important and whether or not we celebrate it on his actual date of birth, don't let commercialization ruin it. This holiday is about family, faith, and the birth of Jesus. Not #Concords, #iPads, #KindleFires, or other#ConspicuousConsumption. So know the full story of what we celebrate. What it means. Shoes Rule The World

Its amazing to me how people wait upwards of a week for a pair of shoes, but can't take time out to help another person. So a pair of over-priced sneakers is worth your time more than your fellow human. Then we wonder why the world is going to hell in a fuel dashed hand basket.

I for one think we need to go back to basics. Start patronizing small businesses. Start checking on our neighbors. Start growing a global community of sharing, growth and evolving. We need to stop living for the enrichment of the 1%.

Slavery was a deprecation and oppression of the majority by the minority. With mental indoctrination at its base it was infallible. It continues until today. We work most often just to get to work. Tell me we aren't brainwashed.

Forget Occupy Wall Street, we must first occupy our minds and souls with health and motivation before we can exact change on a larger scale.

So I am starting a new movement. Trademarked and all so they won't try to steal that like everything else. Me Rewired! When you see the name remember what it means! Me Rewired: Improvement of self to pass it forward to the world.
